mattlacroix4
Stubborn GFS, 12Z finally brings up the heavier snow to Maine, talk about late to the game. Not that it matters anymore, but funny.
40/70 Benchmark
Edge creeping into MBY and the rates are picking up. Hold me to this: 6" more for u and I

Kbosch
Just think..if the GFS didn't exist..all doubt would have been removed and 20-30 inches would have been in all forecasts This really is 1996.

dendrite
wow...sw NH and n ORH co band Dude...it's raking up here. Unfortunately the winds are picking up so that messes up my accums a bit, but I'll probably be pushing 11-12" when I measure in 5 mins.
Yukon Cornelius
Cranking out there right now! This will hopefully make up for all the downsloping crap we had earlier this morning.
Ian
Well modelled by the NAM and meso models.Poor job by the GFS as usual and the Euro to a slightly lesser degree. figured you guys would get crushed with the 500 maps but thought it would move fast enough to keep 18-24 being widespread. looks like your winter... all is well with the world again. moneypitmike
Is that what the wife wants me to chage my name to.......... 33-35 dbz's this is insane rates....... Lol--I'm sure she could come up with one. Meanwhile, some great flakeage continuing here. Vis has come up a bit, but still coming a really good clip. Interesting--temp continuing to cmoe up here (24.2/22) under the heavier band, but east of the river into Northern worcester county temps appeared to have come down and are in lighter snow. Maybe we're getting sandwiched on the cold from both sides here between the spine and the river.

sankaty
19 inches. Very light snow between the two main bands. If the band to our west makes it in, we'll probably get 20". So disappointed we didn't get the 44" promised by yesterday's 18z NAM Bufkit. I had lashed a ruler to our yardstick just to be ready.
Clinch Leatherwood
I guess traffic has basically come to a stop under the band crossing route 3 up by Hingham etc. Near whiteout, been that way for an hour. http://radar.weather.gov/radar.php?product=N0R&rid=BOX&loop=yes

cpickett79
wow...sw NH and n ORH co band your original JP area. they will pay catch up especially if the band "rots" there. and i'm not sure if any totals come out of becket....savoy ....etc (the 2k+ area that straddles berkshire county with the counties to the east) but i dont' see that area being caught.
