sankaty
That dryslot is making me slightly uncomfortable... Seems to be making decent eastward progress on the Upton radar. I'm guessing it misses all but SE CT, but who knows.

Damage In Tolland
Yeah it should...it will probably come close enough to affect SE CT and parts of RI and SE MA...but I think its going to be filling in and get pinched off as it tries to go NE. This is surreal. We're finally in the sweet spot.. All these years of waiting.
Bryan
Anyone else in my neck of the woods? I keep hearing rumbles of thunder and just want to make sure I'm not losing it.
BrokenASOS
It is an amazing thing. The convection is is getting ingested straight up directly into the portion of the active jet stream. The jet undulations are amazing too. Classic look for an intense beast. Cannot wait to see the visible later today!
ORH_wxman
I was commenting on that about 45 min ago...best ive seen in a long time. What do you think about the dryslot...it looks to me (and based on past experience like 12/9/05) that it will get pinched off as it tries to climb NE....get more shoved east with the redeveloping ML center? But these things can always be tough to forecast. But I'm thinking with a compact flow and inflow like that, its going to be hard to make the dryslot climb north into that.
