Damage In Tolland
Congrats on your #1 storm in Tolland. This is going to be some more heavy **** to dig out of here. Everything is caked. I've decided not to shovel till it's over. Hopefully getting to shovel 20+ inches has always been a dream of mine. I know I know
ROOSTA
Flashing blue lightning. Detector spiking with rumbling and bumbling. Gusts becoming more frequent topping ~30mph. Vis is 50ft at best "Here we go."
weatherMA
The correction vector is wrong...expect this trend bad in the coming days. Well I dont know enough to understand all his reasoning, I just meant with the higher totals. I know a lot of mets predicted the higher totals then the gfs was spitting out are likely. edit: I meant to write would bust
weatherwiz
its not wide either, from westport into fairfield on the southern edge, i cant imagine just north of the parkway in elevations up around 4-500 ft what they are getting based on what I have. To think this all will rotate ne, somebody around will is going to get destroyed, just destroyed this thing is packing like 30-40 dbz too...SICK
Kbosch
This thing is definitely stalling...look at the deformation band in W. CT...it's actually retrograding westward instead of pushing eastward. You don't have to tell me that I'm dyin over here

hooralph
I had debated staying in AZ into this week. If I had done that, they would have found my body in a pool.

MainePhotog
0.5" on the ground and the rates are picking up. Can't wait for daylight to get here to get a sense of how heavy heavy it's falling. Stray flurries beginning here. Can't believe my wife's work wasn't cancelled. 40 mile trip into S. Portland in this storm for her. 4WD FTW! Arnold214
It looks pretty impressive over you...but maybe that is the radar proximity and bright banding from some riming or something. That Burrillville band is over me and its unreal. But the best part about this is we still can see this CCB go to town for a few hours....and it hasn't happened yet. No guarantee its as good as 12/9/05...in fact, probably not...but it shoul dbe pretty impressive....all guidance shows a good amount of this lift translating E and going to town over E MA for a time this morning after about 12z. Esp around 15z. The greatest thing about this system is its kind similar to 12/9/05 for dynamics but the 5h grabs its azz as its trying to escape stage right....and we could get something pretty cool over E MA for a few hours later this morning including Attlehole. its pulsing...not as steady as before here...whatever boundary this stuff is keying on is like a few miles to my north. Winds are increasing...shotgun blasts getting more numerous. Hopefully that ccb crushes bigtime.

HIPPYVALLEY
I've decided not to shovel till it's over. Hopefully getting to shovel 20+ inches has always been a dream of mine. I know I know The trick is to watch the radar and shovel when there is maybe another .25" coming - keeps the shoveled piles that much prettier and natural.
