CTNoreaster
Boy do I wish I was how much further west. Wow Fairfield and Westport...wow. Measurement forthcoming. There is so much snow outside from what we had left, too. Westport has seen epic band for the last two hours. I would love to get Ryans opinion on how intense the rates are in the western band...Regardless Westport and all of Rt. 7 got slammed
Arnold214
Where is Arnold? He mustbe loving this radar...its basically 12/9/05 all over again but slight earlier and a bit longer lasting. Likely not the tropofold we saw in that one for 100mph winds, but still, everyhting else on the plate. Im here...this thing is going 12/9/05 in ct right now. Lightning increasing. My snowfall rates have decreased quite a bit...just cant keep it going here. Need to get into that band.

Likely not the tropofold we saw in that one for 100mph winds, but still, everyhting else on the plate. This is exactly the storm I was thinking about Sat. night when the 00z nam came out. An earlier 12/9/05, that would hopefully clip me, but still not early enough. 8-11 inches storm total down here in Monmouth county though, Enjoy your storm guys! weathafella
LOL near 33 and 1/4sm at BOS. Power Fail for many I think. It's actually quite windy in Andover. 100+ yo trees are hanging low (branches). Everything plastered...heavy snow falling and agree it is windy. I'm at 30.5 and actually am happy it transpired like this because of how thick the snow is. Once we cold, hopefully I still have power...

HIPPYVALLEY
Wowsers! Just woke up for the day. Measured 8" in multiple places! During that little 2+ hour "nap" I took we doubled our totals here! Radar looks like we are about to get nailed again. I can't imagine what people under those darker bands are seeing. No "Valley screw job" this time.

ORH_wxman
Im here...this thing is going 12/9/05 in ct right now. Lightning increasing. My snowfall rates have decreased quite a bit...just cant keep it going here. Need to get into that band. It looks pretty impressive over you...but maybe that is the radar proximity and bright banding from some riming or something. That Burrillville band is over me and its unreal. But the best part about this is we still can see this CCB go to town for a few hours....and it hasn't happened yet. No guarantee its as good as 12/9/05...in fact, probably not...but it shoul dbe pretty impressive....all guidance shows a good amount of this lift translating E and going to town over E MA for a time this morning after about 12z. Esp around 15z. The greatest thing about this system is its kind similar to 12/9/05 for dynamics but the 5h grabs its azz as its trying to escape stage right....and we could get something pretty cool over E MA for a few hours later this morning including Attlehole. CT Rain
You missed it in Feb 06? Yeah it's coming down pretty good. Will be going back out at 6:30 to measure Nope was inside the studio and missed it. That happened another time at work that I had just gotten inside the building (relatively sound proof and windowless) and everyone driving in so the transmitter in farmington get hit twice by 2 CG strokes. I also missed 12/9/05 by mere hours when driving from ALB to Guilford. My parents had about an hour of frequent LTG.

CoastalWx
For those wondering, the dryslot is aiding in the convection to the band..just north of the slot on the south coast. Look how convective and intense that band is. That's where the TSSN is too, basically near BOS down to TAN and over to PVD and IJD. EWB has TSSN too, but vis is 2sm, so may be a mix.
