sankaty
10 inch drought is finally over here, too. Making a run at a foot, now. Thinking it should happen unless the CCB band misses us entirely, which seems very unlikely. That was close with the dry slot. Was actually in it for about 10 minutes. Bostonseminole
Best estimate derived from a myriad of different mesurements is about 4.75" since it started about 3.5 hrs ago......some areas 5.5".....some just under 4" 30.4\29 Everything is caked.....nice, failry wet snow, but not to the point of inhibiting accumulations....this is how I draw it up. I have 5.5" after measuring in a couple of different place, I would go with 5" about to get even heavier
H2Otown_WX
Finally Paul.. FINALLY! I know I know..the 80's through early 90's were way worse but I wasn't around then.

wxmanmitch
Meso band has just pivoted in here. Went from a fine powdered sugar type snow to large dendritic aggregates. Snow growth is phenomenal. Looks like the westerly track on the RUC may be verifying. I wonder if I can pull off 20" here as I will likely be at the pivot point for that meso band. Probably about 7 ot 8" out there now.

CoastalWx
The inflow is amazing...not sure if you dryslot or not, but its going to try and get chewed up by that inflow...thats about as ridiculous as it gets save 12/9/05 which may never be matched...but this is close. Maybe it can give that storm a run for its money a bit later. We still have about 6 hours worth of legit unknown surprises with this as 5h tries to capture this. Yeah maybe it doesn't truly dryslot down by EK or BOS, but the echoes get somewhat convective or disorganized, but this could be chewed away like you said with the flow.
