You are definitely playing it right now and its enhancing the already good bands. We are getting destroyed here right now. Good banding plus upslope win FTW here. Arnold214
any reason as to why the 40-45 DBZ bands coming off water on to New Bedford are fizzling out? They arent fizzling out...they are moving northward out of the radar bright banding zone...which is a good thing.

Organizing Low
Looks like dry slot is beginning to get pinched off to the north per Upton radar. one thing that was always interesting about this storm was the tight core on the north side of the dryslot. that radar shot shows what the models were depicting beautifully. extremely intense storm. danstorm
Hey guys, Usually hang in the NYC thread but technically I'm in NE... Getting 3-4"/hr. underneath that band in W. Ct. Just measured 9.5 and in the time of writing this post, it could be 10... can't say I've ever had a CSI band literally open up over my house (I'm in Ridgefield, underneath 35-40 Dbz) ... well, not since 95-96 and a storm in Feb.
