sorry to say this but the models that had the big blob of precip east of nassau cty were dead right...you can see on the radar that this is going to crush SNE and E LI

im pretty sure that this is going to be a generic 5 or so inch deal im headed to sleep. Good Luck to everyone and enjoy the snow (day)

no model and the max west of that.. everyone showed the max in eastern SNE.. things are going exactly as planned

They're actually worried about a dry slot in eastern SNE... Not saying they won't get crushed cause they will... But there u go...

Winds picking up in Central Nassau as well. For the first time tonight the snow was almost horzontal for a solide 30 secs. Also fallen straight down in the last 15 minutes.

where you located man? im in albertson been snowin moderately but in past few min back to hard and the wind is blowing it horizontal...have about 5 here

dendrite heaven in NJ tonight.

i just spent the last hour outside amongst the dendrites. what a beautiful night!

1.25" in 40 minutes

5" so far.

and... it occurred to me about 20 minutes ago, i've now measured 80" of snow in the last 13 months. :snowman:

About the same here thinking 6 - 8 will do it. 100 degrees 6 months ago , 80 inches of snow the perfect pair. whatta year
