I'm about 8 miles WSW of Allentown near Bear Creek and got 4.5". Not a bad little storm. Met my expectations, which were 4-5".

My expectations were for 2-5/3-6 which is generally what was progged to happen here. We fell within the NWS forecast range, so not disappointed with the storm at all.

2.4" on the board + 3.5" before I cleared = 5.9" total

general 8-9" snow pack depending on where I measure

school's closed, it was the first good January storm since 2005 (although we did get a surprise event 1/14/06), and 17.5" in under three weeks in a Strong Nina winter... needless to say I'm happy.

But now I'm going back to bed.

Any monmouth county reports?? My friend said 9-11" new snow in Red Bank. We had an 8-8.5" report in Holmdel with about 1-2hrs left in the precip band.

I have 8 in Allaire.....

The ranges I am seeing...south to north...fall right in line with the change over to snow timing. The Miller B delivered a classic event to this region with mixing (rain, sleet and snow) and then once that wind turned.....bam the snow making began and it was impressive at times. When I hit the sack around 11:15 there was about an inch of new snow and it was starting to come down hvy. Around 330am a plow woke me up and it appeared to have been over. So 7 inches in 4 hours.....nice thump snow!

Time to put in the retirement papers...

For all of the weenie crap yesterday about the grids I think the calls your office was putting out in Eastern PA and much of NJ were excellent.

The haters need to STFU. Mount Holly is damn good at what they do.

PS -- check is in the mail. :P

Final total here in NW Chesco - East Nantmeal Twp

5.0"

I fell well behind the Mount of Brookhaven overnight.....sigh.....

We will always fall behind Mt. Brookhaven....it's like Mt. Villanova shrunk and Mt. Brookhaven grew a few hundred feet overnight. ;)

(just kidding Lee)

You'll make up for it no worries. I know one or more storms I will mix or go over to rain while your pouring snow. But I line up perfectly Here with soad in boothwyn at 7 inches and Tom In drexel hill at 6.2 so I lineup well
