mikerep
4.2" average from several places around the yard. Was outside during that last heavy band that passed through. Really nice band if it's headed your way. Added 1.5" to the total I had before it came through.

johnc
Nice to see some man's snow (big flakes) for a change. Those Dec. 26 flurries were killing me. It's nicer without the wind, too.

I concur with these amounts in Trevose. Looks like we'll get another inch or so. A nice modest storm. It's rather heartbreaking though to see a low get so close and yet do so little, but that's the nature of Miller B's.
RU848789
Really coming down now. 1.5" in the last hour - up to 4.0" as of midnight. Just went for a nice walk - please don't just stay inside and post on these boards - get out there and walk around, maybe make a snow angel or two, enjoy it... Remember, radar echoes generally move based on 10,000 foot winds (i.e., the 700 millibar low) Actually Ray, if you loop the radar, you can see the low trying to wrap up just east of Cape May with a dry tongue to the E and NE of the low. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Yeah, that's what I mean... the rotation you see is up around 10,000 feet (the 700 mb low). The surface low is probably IN the nose of the dry slot.
