Spanks45
Looks to be around 3.75 to 4 inches in Middletown, DE....not too bad considering we started out as sleet and freezing rain, still have some moderate snow falling.
LMolineuxLM1
they checked in multiple locations, each which already had 1-2" left over from this weekend First let me state this. I took a picture of 2 crates with a snowboard set ontop of the crates. I have an official Snow board in Effect. I just measured 4.5 inches on that snowboard. bluehens
Really amazing how tight the precip shield is with the low not really that far off the NJ coast. I'm really praying that back edge slows or stalls for another hour or two or the PHL area is definitely done by 1 am.
Noreaster07
maybe that is that band that we saw earlier on some of the hi-res models?????????? no that finger of heavy precip that was on the NMM actually occured at the beginnning of the storm not at its middle or end

famartin
The WRI and DOV visibility sensors look like garbage. I noticed with the last couple storms and now with this one, they are reading way too high. Good 'ol Air Force

Parsley
One last insane band moving through Mont. and eastern Chester Co. 4+" seems achievable in the wake of that, maybe make a run at 5".

Billabong
35 dbz south-central Mont. Co. a little further north here, its easily 1/4 S+ right now. I was right under them, even a few 40 dbz pixels. It bumped me up to 4.0" finally (as of 11:20pm). Don't forget to subtract out the grass if you aren't measuring on a board... And previous leftover snow.

Come on, two mets can measure a 4 inch snowfall and get anywhere between 3.5 and 4.5 inches and it's a good measurement.

JTA66
no that finger of heavy precip that was on the NMM actually occured at the beginnning of the storm not at its middle or end Nice catch. I thought that would have been a band that set up late in the storm ... but it did have a weird west-east orientation to it. Recalling what the radar looked like this afternoon, that's what we were seeing.
