It's pouring snow again, closing in on 5". So much for the mild, snowless Nina winter.

Looks like you're hitting the last heavy band.....I'm in Horsham....should hit me soon..

Its really ripping outside here still, and some back building into Chester County might help out a bit more but not sure if its gonna make much of a difference here. We shall see how it all works out.

one last band trying to gather steam over SE Pa and SW NJ....can the magic PHL snow magnet summon forth another finale band over the airport to beef up the storm total?:guitar:

There was a really incredible band that came through here from about 12-12:30. The flakes were HUGE and it was coming down heavier than I've seen it come down in a long time. Yellows (35 dbz) were right over me. Walking outside in that was fun. :snowman:

About 4.75 inches here now with heavy snow continuing.

I'm back home in Westfield for this storm, but I drove from new brunswick to westfield at 10:30 with about 2 inches on the ground and it seemed like the apocalypse. everything glowed orange in the streetlights and I was almost alone on Route 1. The parkway was slowed down to 30mph at most with plows running every couple miles and not enough salt was being flung to keep the snow from piling up. It is intense out there. One of the most beautiful snowfalls I've seen in a long time. big fluffy flakes and almost no wind to speak of. Outstanding.

4.5" on the ground :D
