The_Global_Warmer
Once the better lift moves into the area, everything will easily change to snow...I am still seeing 4-8 inches on the East side of Philly and 3-6 the rest of the area close to Philly. Good luck!
goombatommy
I don't know, the precip coming from the OV looks pretty serious. If the low on the coast completely misses us for those east of i95, and if this energy holds from the OV I could easily see our areas reaching our goals. Not a foot, but 3 - 6" with localized 5 - 7" seems very likely.

Deano
Occasional/intermittent flurries - 6 miles N of PNE. Apparently some of the airline mets are not so bullish on a big event @KPHL anymore. Flight dispatchers have just started to redispatch flight crews for Wed am that they had CX'd or repackaged earlier.

I still think we'd fare alright here. Not the 5 - 7" range I was talking about earlier, more along 3 - 6".

jbutl
Have a little coating on everything now. Bigger flakes and such. Still give it another 2 hours before the radar starts filling in from the coast.
blue sky
I was not calling for a bust. I was excited that I got fluries a 1:50. I was thinking that the air was getting Humid. I guess Rib read my thread wrong.

pasnownut
I'm going to get a beer to celebrate what appears to be LNS/MDT and surround "snow dome" vicinities sitting in the bullseye of some heavier...and expanding returns between the susq river and altoona. Looks to be headed straight for us.... Now I hope I didn't jinx it. Nut
Fozz
For all your panic over a bust, you'll enjoy a nice 3-6" snowfall, if not more, that won't be melting for at least a few days.
Voyager
I'm actually liking what I'm seeing on radar at the present time. The OV low is sending a bit of snow love toward the east.
goombatommy
The radar looks to be breaking up though central OH. It will probably be only a matter of time before the rest of the QPF breaks up.

JTA66
good luck with 8 inches in Philly...more like 4 Most of the local forecast were calling for 4"-8" for Philly. Why do people only focus on the high number? If Philly gets 4", I'd say the forecast verified.
famartin
This system really doesn't look like I thought it would on radar at this time. There was supposed to be a big blob starting to form along the DelMarVa coast... not a big blob moving in from central PA.
