Looks like there could be some good elevated T-storms across the area during the late night, and a very rainy night regardless. Winds are really picking up outside now as well. The trees brought down power lines on Cooper Road just after 4 a.m. The lines caught fire, apparently fueled by gas, shooting up a ball of fire. Cooper Road was closed between Terrill Road and Martine Avenue. Central Park also had a high of 49 on the 1st. But maybe you live farther south and you did hit 50. Your location is not listed so I am just speculating.
