The "new" Winchester band doesn't look all that impressive - we will see if it can grow like the previous two.

The area between the first two bands is looking respectable now. Should be getting a bit longer of a period of snow than the first band.

this storm is already like 10x better than 12/26 :P

ANOTHER BATCH OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW DEVELOPING ACROSS PORTIONS

OF NORTH CENTRAL MARYLAND...STRETCHING DOWN INTO EXTREME NORTHERN

VIRGINIA LATE THIS EVENING. THIS BAND OF SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE

EAST AT 35 MPH...STRETCHING FROM HAGERSTOWN TO FREDERICK...DOWN INTO

THE WESTERN WASHINGTON SUBURBS. LOCALLY HEAVY SNOWFALL WILL RESULT

IN A LOWERED VISIBILITIES...WITHIN A MILE AT TIMES.

A QUICK HALF INCH TO AN INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE I-70

CORRIDOR OF NORTH CENTRAL MARYLAND...AND PORTIONS OF THE POTOMAC

RIVER VALLEY THROUGH 10 PM. THIS BATCH OF SNOW WILL BEGIN TO MOVE

INTO THE WESTERN SUBURBS OF THE BALTIMORE METRO AREA BY 830 PM...AND

ACROSS THE METRO AREA THROUGH 10 PM. A LIGHT COATING OF ICE FROM

EARLIER FREEZING RAIN ACTIVITY MAY BE MASKED UNDER THE CURRENT

SNOWFALL ACTIVITY...SO USE CAUTION IF OUTDOORS LATE THIS EVENING.
