A clip from Uptons disc. "

WILL TRACK

ALONG THE ATLANTIC SEABOARD TO A POINT 80-90 MILES EAST OF

ATLANTIC CITY LATE THIS EVENING.-- End Changed Discussion --"

If I am not mistaken.. That track will slam NJ. Anyone agree?

80-90 miles east of acy is definitely a little bit further west than progged I would think...

What is about to hit NYC and the surrounding areas looks incredible..

Also, if a MODERATOR can please private message me, but for some reason, for the last few days, I have only been able to post 5 posts a day, I know this isn't the area to question one's status on this forum, but I was never warned, and honestly have no idea what and if I did something wrong... I apologize in advance for posting this here, but I've tried to contact the admin but to no avail.. I don't know how else to get anyone's attention.. To any Moderator that can at least explain, I'd greatly appreciate it.. Thank You...

there is a 6hr period on the 00z RUC where the dynamics are great and it is during this time that NYC could pick up 90% of its accumulation with snow rates ranging from 1-3in per hr. For the luckiest who end up in the heaviest bands, thundersnow and snowfall rates approaching 4in/hr or more possibility for a short period of time.

snowfall rates like 1983 of 4"/hr are unlikely. I can't recall another storm where rates got that high, but I may be wrong. ABE got 12" in 3 hrs in that storm, including 5" in an hour. That's insane.

Light to Moderate Snow here in Somerset County(hillsborough) Just ran to the store a few minutes after it started was out for a 1/2 hr and Side Roads are already completely covered. Checking radar from before I left to know it has Really filled in and looks pretty juicy ..Even if the Main Low Precip stays to the east later on there is alot of Moderate precip that still has to pull through as storm passes. Feeling alot more comfortable about getting 6+ where I am based on current radar trends and short range hi-res Models. I am assuming that Low off the coast Staying Closer to the coastline and maybe forming earlier will give parts of NJ a nice dumping..Doese anyone have an Idea based on the latest how late the Precip lasts here before Pulling out tomorrow? Lee G was saying like 4 or 5 in the morning but I am thinking it could last a few hrs later than that..
