Dsnowx53
HM says the radar in VA isnt filling in which is concerning. It looks like there might be an issue with a radar site down there since on the weathertap state view theres nothing in virginia but when i zoom into the DC station I see plenty of activity in Virginia. You're talking about Henry Margusity, right? We have another very well respected meteorologist on this forum who uses the name 'HM', so it would be best to avoid this confusion. Kaner587
yea he has a new video...still says 6-8 for nyc...talks about the deeper OV valley low pushing the coastal... here is some good advice...take what Henry M says with a grain of salt. Yes he is a pro met who has a nice skill-set and has been right before, but he is nowhere near as skilled as some of the mets who post in this forum. Trust me, you wont be disappointed (not with this storm just in general) if you follow that advice.

He lives in Central PA, there not going to get much anyway....

yhbrooklyn
Actually not a bad call...my call (if anyone cares) for selected sites... nyc-9.3 jfk-10.5 lga-9 isp-14.6 okx-16.8 hpn-11.2 bdl-19.4 bos-17.9 I think this is reasonable, though not sure why LGA would get less than NYC. kevbo81
radar almost looks like what you'd see shortly before a big severe weather outbreak in the plains states near a dry line. I didn't look, but it is easy to misanalyze that. The lack of a closed contour doesn't mean the pressure inside is not lower.
