OKpowdah
WOW the NAM is even more robust over CT. There's honestly 4 to 5 in/hr rates there with plenty of thunder. Probably with the same frequency as a strong summer storm!

weatherwiz
Ran soundings for SE CT work, all snow and lots of it Yup, nobody in CT has anything to worry about as far as mixing goes, heavy, heavy snow for all.
Kbosch
ARW should be interesting...deform snow over our houses? Congrats CT on 1.75-2.5" Sounds about right. Up there you might be measuring 36" with what you have now plus this. It's the NAM, but I really thought it'd be backing down the QPF a bit. Keeps on truckin'. I think that bullseye is on Steve and Cold Miser's heads. I don't need to jackpot but it would still be close to 2 feet in many areas. I'd like to tickle 50" seasonal total by the end of the day tomorrow You may be able to! The hills are alive!
mostman
Is it not odd that the NAM and GFS are making no attempt to converge? I mean - we are basically at D1 here. One of them is going to lose - bad.
Arnold214
NAM intro's dryslot into RI if the nam is right it'll kinda be like 12/19/09 for attlehole...intense band comes up from the south but is transient and sets up somewhere to the west. Brief dryslot would probably occur...but then ccb eventually comes slamming back. We'll see.
