looks like we're just shy of 3....

...we''ll see what snowshower activity can add over night and if we can nail that 3-4 prediction. I will say the radar's bark was worse than reality's bite during this event. Many times heavy returns sat over us and mod at best was happening. Not sure what that was about, dry air??? Also there were several times where we'd be in moderate pixie dust mixed with much larger dendrites but it never quite went over to the larger stuff for very long. I'm sure that also hurt accums.

I'm gonna bust a little high on my forecast amounts. Closing in on 3 here...Although we may get up to 4 this evening so I'll technically be in my 4-6 range I guess, but the very low end. Definitely didn't get as much as I was hoping here in Columbus.

just got back in from cranking the snowblower so I got out my tape measure and did my usual car top, picnic table measurement spots.... and we had a little more than i had thought.... 3 and some change. Looking at radar I bet we can pull off another 1" tonight.

Radar kind of looks like the most of that stuff SW of here may miss south...I hope it kind rotates up NE a bit.
