buckeye
looks like we're just shy of 3.... ...we''ll see what snowshower activity can add over night and if we can nail that 3-4 prediction. I will say the radar's bark was worse than reality's bite during this event. Many times heavy returns sat over us and mod at best was happening. Not sure what that was about, dry air??? Also there were several times where we'd be in moderate pixie dust mixed with much larger dendrites but it never quite went over to the larger stuff for very long. I'm sure that also hurt accums. Indystorm
Just got home from work and measured 2.9 inches here in Elkhart Dunlap. This on top of the 9 inches we had from the LES that buried South Bend. However, settling is occuring.

hawkeye_wx
My storm total: Snow: 2.3 inches Liquid: 0.21" SLR: 11 to 1 I wouldn't call this event a bust for us, but the models did over-forecast the amount of precip a bit. Leading up to the event the NWS talked of possible ratios of 15+ to 1, but we mostly got pixie dust so the ratio was relatively low.
wxdudemike
I'm gonna bust a little high on my forecast amounts. Closing in on 3 here...Although we may get up to 4 this evening so I'll technically be in my 4-6 range I guess, but the very low end. Definitely didn't get as much as I was hoping here in Columbus. Looking at radar I bet we can pull off another 1" tonight.
vespasian70
2" here. The storm did not perform as well as I thought it would looking at the radar returns earlier this morning. When all is said and done we may get 3" out of this thing.

OhioValleyWx
Burst moving through KDAY as I post this. We were hovering in the low 4" area but this burst will zoom us to just under or over 5". With a few waves coming through overnight the magic 6" mark should be achieved in the Dayton area by tomorrow morning. Josh
