Clinch Leatherwood
His drop kick vs the Dolphins in '06? This is a great event to watch unfold with the experts here. And Blizz My first guess was right....it's able to pull it all together in time. There's a lot more vorticity/energy on this run all the way through. ARW FTW? We'll see. CoastalWx
Scott, Do you use plymouth for those images or a different location? They look similar to the ones generated by plymouth but the layout appears different. Wright-weather.
weathafella
Takes its sweet time letting up too. This could be a great one especially in view of the daytime or normal human awake time occurrence.

MaineJayhawk
Through 48hr. Hmmmm ... I'm surprised the max is only 2" on LI. After the first onslaught I'd have guessed three. lol
Clinch Leatherwood
To illustrate the slight movement east, the snow graphic I was discussing earlier with Phil now has 12-18 out to about HYA vs just south of PYM at 18Z. Thanks! Thanks. I do use that one, but for whatever reason I have issues opening some of the frames. Could be a stoopid Windows Vista issue. It's not just you, twister must have been getting slamed at 9 because I couldn't pull up squat.
moneypitmike
Through 48hr. Congrats, CT, RI, and a bunch of folks in the eastern part of the state!!!! Fantastic.
weatherwiz
Certainly just east of 18z and actually looks abit more wrapped up, especially at 700mb...the low tracks are just PERFECT for most of us here.

LOL..i was just looking at the jerry. i think this run...would produce about 2" of snow here i'd watch anywhere within a few miles of the shore all the way up to BOS - not for bad amounts but for slightly lower totals....if the NAM comes to fruition. Cold Miser
It's not just you, twister must have been getting slamed at 9 because I couldn't pull up squat. . . . Could be, but let me blame Vista. I like to blame that o.s. for everything that goes wrong with my computer.
weathafella
This run actually is great for LI but NYC is a bit too far west of the best dynamics. Same for NJ.

Yep. A little better, but to join in on the big totals we'll need another 25 mile shift E or SE.

CarverWX
ETaunton, what are you thinking for totals around our area? Do you think we have to worry about and mixing in this?
SouthCoastMA
ETauntonMA like the 00z NAM. Thanks Brian. I'd kill to be like 20 miles inland in your spot right now.

NAM says no but you and I both know there aren't many times CT gets 2' and we stay all snow. This may be that time. It does sneak the 1000-850 c/t well over both of us. I may be close but I've lived here long enough to know the line will be 5-7 miles west even in this situation here. -- I love the NAM. It's the Forrest Gump model, modeling is like a box of chocolates you never know what you'll get every six hours. Will be interesting to see how the other models handle it and whether it scored a coup.
Cold Miser
And a nice little reach around to end it. Nothing wrong with a reach around every once in a while. With that being said, are we looking at some people seeing close to 24 hours of precip?

cpickett79
anyone wanna guess where the nam clown map jackpot is (even thou damn near all of us do well) i would say union to NW RI up to ORH/495 and toward ray -ray.
shawnmov
What's great about these types of storms is that so many people bail on going to work that I'll have a smooth ride into Boston in my 4WD. This is going to be awesome viewing out of my 24th floor office looking east. December 5, 2005 was one of the most amazing days of viewing from that location. I may actually be exited to go to work for a change!
