DixieBlizzard
I figured this would be a good place for folks to put there pics for easy access in the future instead of the obs thread. Great storm! We had 6.5 inches before compaction from sleet and frz drizzle.

TugHillMatt
Enjoy your beautiful snow down there! The thin layer of ice on top of your snowpack will only help to preserve it longer as the light/heat of the sun bounces right off of it! The south sure has had some good snowfall years lately. oconeexman
A few more for ya...after being all over the hood i'm convinced it was more like 8", several drifts over a foot! The freezing rain hasn't stopped in 2or3 hours...its light but really evident on the power lines, signs, sides of the cars and gutters (1/4 inch ice sheet hanging)

Akeem the African Dream
Lets get some pics of the snow/ice on palm trees. Surely someone in SC or coastal NC has this. This thread would be so full of win if we had that.

WeatherNC
Captured these birds this morning, when I see the Hawks perching in the back, that is indicative of a storm on the way. Sorry the pic is blurry, I had to zoom in and then crop the picture once I uploaded it. I believe they are a pair of red-shouldered hawks (not red tailed), male and female. IP accumulation on the weber Q as of 5pm
