WinterWxLuvr
The NAM trying to throw a little love toward us toward Monday morning and the GFS looking at a little wintry precip Monday night. Hey, if it's gonna rain, might as well lay down a little snow and ice to land on. I know from reading that the Euro goes to rain too, but I can't gather any info as to whether it might start off frozen like the others. Dusting sometime last night. aldie 22
This would raise eyebrow no? http://www.nco.ncep....fs_ten_102m.gif I would think that is frozen precip Ji but there are two trends we need to watch...one of course is positive which is the cold air hanging on longer due to the low going so far West but the negative one might be is that it may be taking all of the qpf with it....hold on tight brother because the troops will be coming soon to shoot this one down. Just look outside at the fluffy fest this morning and let them have at it later.

Just look outside at the fluffy fest this morning and let them have at it later. That's funny. Looks like some classic warm advection overrunning, according to the 6z GFS. Even at this range, it usually under estimates surface cold (weenie statement # 122 in the "book").
