EasternUSWX
.NOW...LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH MIDNIGHT. SOME FREEZING DRIZZLE ORLIGHT FREEZING RAIN IS ALSO POSSIBLE...BUT THE PRECIPITATION TYPETHROUGH MIDNIGHT WILL BE MAINLY SNOW. UP TO TWO INCHES OF SNOW ISPOSSIBLE BY MIDNIGHT. USE EXTRA CAUTION IF YOU MUST TRAVEL TONIGHT...AS ROADS THAT LOOK JUST WET COULD BE ICY IF THEY ARE NOT TREATED. CTP now has me 1-3" lol. Gosh they suck. canderson
Wow, your post made me just look at the forecast and they've changed it to what I thought they should've had all along. Overnight: Snow before 1am, then snow, possibly mixed with sleet between 1am and 4am, then snow, possibly mixed with freezing rain and sleet after 4am. Low around 23. East wind between 3 and 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total nighttime ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. Total nighttime snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible. Tuesday: Rain or freezing rain likely before 1pm, then a slight chance of rain between 1pm and 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 36. North wind between 4 and 7 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New ice accumulation of around a 0.1 of an inch possible. Basically saying tonight's all snow and a short period of zr tomorrow morning.
