Now that now-casting is upon us, what do you think will happen?

I'm bullish.

They are at a Watch for my area here in Baltimore, and I don't think that comes close to verifying. 2-3 inches total for the storm, MAX. As likely to have a trace to dusting or even a shutout. I think the models are showing the range of possibilities because all are on the table, including a pretty good shot of not much. I am still guessing, based on the pattern this season and with Miller Bs around here in general, this won't work out for my part of the area.

My forecast is for 1-2 (with a winter storm watch! ha!) I think that's what I will see.

Underperform. The dryslot will screw us, and the winter storm watch will come to naught.

I'll wait until 12z before throwing the towel. Though, the 6z NAM looks fine.

I'll go with as currently predicted, which is a pretty minor snowfall (which is a consensus of 1-2" western/south-western suburbs, around 2-3" DC, 2-4" east and north-east areas, and 3-5" out towards the Eastern Shore).

And DT just declared that the Richmond snow anus is back and:

If everyone keeps looking at the models like they do...I'm going to say underperform every single time. Wait...I have been saying that all along.

depends where you live... further NE you're going to overperform slightly... further SW underperform... in the middle spot on.

Since the original LWX call was 3-5", I think we actually got what they originally predicted.

Not bad considering my piss poor expectations.
