beanskip
Looking at the last two or three frames of the radar loop, it does look like some northern component - that band has moved over the state line in SE Cleveland County near Grover. Hate wasting these good ratios in this precip gap. Same here but I got 4"..
eyewall
2.6 inches here now but down to a flizzard.
DaculaWeather
Sleet and freezing rain now. I'm a little worried about the freezing rain right now, this is where our real problems are going to come in.
NorthernUpstateSC
Closing in on 9 inches of snow in western pickens county in the northern six mile area. Light to moderate snow still falling with temp holding steady at 25. This is the most we have seen in this area in a long time!
Lookout
btw, I'm totally stuck here. My driveway has about a foot and a half (2 foot?) snow drift in a part of it. The only other time I have ever seen that was during the blizzard of 93. This part of the driveway goes up a hill but it also cuts into the hill some and sits about 18 inches to 2 feet below the surrounding terrain so it sort of captures blowing snow...if we have any. Well the snow is EQUAL to that terrain in the middle of the driveway. Couldn't get out if I wanted to lol Haven't seen a single car go up my road since I got back up at 5am. Amos83
Radar is starting to take a more SE to NE oriented movement which is good because more precip will be able to make it into the CLT area. The radar had a lot for west to east component to it earlier. Just as my weenie heart had begun to lose hope!
EmersonGA
The dog wanted out so we opened the door. He took one step out and turned around. He finally couldnt hold it any longer. Funny thing is the snow is crusted so hard now that the dog poop is floating on the snow.
