JoMo
Looks like a rain to snow situation... the 132 was a surprise, i guess the thing is hauling ass.
MoWeatherguy
Yeah I expected more out of 132. Still a good hit with the transition.

Spot
Dont go there!!!!!!! j/k... But.. That was one of the most, if not that most "EVIL" storms ever in my life. 1 inch of snow for me....places just 20-30 miles N and West.. 6-9 inches on the ground. I was watching the radar seeing it all just slide away.. mere miles. While i'm on the southern edge of light precip.. Reminds me a lot of Nov 30/Dec 1, 2006. Spot
I think the GFS might be snowing more of a Rain/Sleet/Ice garbage here on the 12z.
JoMo
Well the GFS ensembles are pretty sure there will be a storm. who gets the heaviest snow is unknown though.
NwWhiteOut
Reminds me a lot of Nov 30/Dec 1, 2006. Man that storm clobbered me in osceola and much of the surrounding area with between 12-18"....we got 18" out of that monster! Started as a lil zr then quickly changed over to heavy snow
MoWeatherguy
Let's see what the Euro has here in a few. So far its GGEM/Ukie vs GFS.

MoWeatherguy
Any guesses here on what the Euro does? I think it goes back to a more phased solution, somewhere between the Ukie and GGEM.

NwWhiteOut
Yeah I knew that was prolly the best storm you've had up there. Out in missouri hell yes it was the biggest one I have seen so far living back here. Hell it even topped a few of the bigger nor easters i saw as a kid growing up on the east coast. I would love to see something like that again but its probly a rare thing and the setup has to be perfect
JoMo
Euro is going way south........... Like.. southern texas south... a miss to the south, that's how far south it's going.

SEMIweather
how much is that? You get just over 1" of QPF on the GFS almost all of which would be snow...Euro on the other hand you get like .1" of QPF.
MoWeatherguy
I normally don't vote against the Euro but at this point I've gotta think it's showing some of it's bias of holding back western energy too much. GFS is a good compromise.
