I am in Webb City. It is hard to tell with the drifting of snow. However, I have several measuring sticks around the yard and I will melt some snow down in my guage. I would say the north Joplin metro is around 3"

Yep thats the problem here now as well the wind has picked up and its starting to drift. Cant get an accurate measure. I took about 4 or 5 and 3 of them said just shy of 5.5". Piled up quick down there! Nice to see we all got snow for a change

morning not alot of snow can see the grass and leaves over it still coming down wheres all the inches were supposed to get?

When it comes to snow in this part of the country, disappointment is more frequent than upside surprises. Although this was certainly not a bust for many here. Sorry if you have to go to school or work now.

Growing up in the coastal plain of NJ, I had a lot of training in snow disappointment, so I try to keep my expectations low when it comes these marginal low moisture systems. :axe:

I hate these type of systems. They have these bands of snow, and if you are not under one, you get screwed. Like me.

Wow... was looking at the 12z NAM run... and boy, it doesn't have the current snow depth correctly at all!

Additionally, it is spitting out some precip for late Sunday/Monday. Looks like a little over .10".

NAM did not have this system pegged good at all IMO. I dont know maybe it is just too sensitive sometimes and has a lot of knee jerk reactions to certain input variables.

The grass isn't even covered here and we have a snow day...smh @ OU. Good thing I found out before my first class...I'll take it!

They call of school with a dusting? WOW thats a first for you. Imagine in Lake Orion if they called of school for dustings

12z GFS really opens a lot of QPF over MO again Sunday into early Monday morning. Snow depth chart also looks pretty dynamic!

Yeah I think that is officially something to watch now. The GFS has moved the best precip a bit east from it's ealier runs but it has really good agreement from the 12z GGEM this morning. Waiting on the Euro to jump on now.

Looks like a KC special.
