I guess I should start tryng to learn some models and things to contribute to our little geographic group , huh Guys.. lol. Instead of farting around with guns cars bikes atvs and tree cutting for a living it seems like the swmo and four state group is kind of tight little group in this forum .. either way I guess there are enough of us here at american to have our own thread lol have a great one guys ...

Good ole NAM up to its old tricks again tonite on the 0z run. Earlier runs showing 2-4 inches across C and E MO but tonite barely showing anything outside of NW MO. If that verifies gonna be some big forecast busts tomorrow. GFS looking drier tonite too. Looking like a very minimal event here for sure.

yea temp is 37 almost here right now....though the ground must be cold cause all the wet spots on the road are ice now.....up at work 20 miles north its so much colder and still have 4.5" of snow on the ground....just insane....probly 2" at best left here most has melted off now

Yes very tragic. I had just heard on the news tonite that only one of them had died. Now they are saying both are dead?

yeah :-\

http://www.ktts.com/news/114432309.html

A fun day of sledding turns tragic for a family from McDonald County. 9-year-old Grace Koday and her 12-year-old brother Joseph were sledding around an icy pond near Southwest City when they fell into the water.

Rescue crews pulled Joseph out after 45-minutes, but it took dive teams six hours to find his sister. Both were in critical condition and sent to a hospital in Joplin, then to Kansas City. Grace died during the transfer Saturday morning, and Joseph died Saturday night.

They were saying that the little girl had died or had no pulse on the way being med flighted to the hospital , and the boy died today? I think , we might wanna say a prayer for the family if anyone thinks about it ,or

is religious . Hope fully those children have peace, but they were taken so early in life with so much left to live....

Hey everyone. I hope the weekend is going good. My Jayhawks lost today, not happy. But some football tomorrow should help things. We all know this system blows a**. However, I do think we have some potential down the road. I am also going to analyze the spring season with this pattern very soon. Here is my blog I did about an hour ago.

The day 10 storm mentioned above is now Day 8-9 on the models. Same story though, crushing N Stream pushes it farther south.

Which ends up nicely for a few of us. ;):guitar: We'll see if the GFS continues to show the storm that far south though...it's hard to believe that, especially that far out.

Yeah, you see the GGEM today? A lot warmer and no precip, heh

Euro was colder at 168 than the GFS.

Interesting twist on the 18z GFS today re: the early week system next week. Bringing out the trough now instead of trying to hang it back over the SW.

yeah can't wait to see what the 00z runs show
