Hey Dawson,

It certainly looked like it on the fast few frames of that loop.

BTW, have you talked to your folks at Big Canoe? I bet they are cashing in nicely!

There are not there tonight so no reports from that location.

So you think that area south of Bham will refill? that would be interesting

I think some of it will as the max omeaga move into north GA.

Robert don't you think that dry slot just south of BHM should fill back in. Based on what I'm seeing on the RUC it would indicate that.

yeah, I do, but further south it might not, south of 20. Thats associated with the low level jet thats helping the thundersnow and dry air entrainment. Dont worry n. GA isn't about to become void of precip. The RUC has been doing pretty good so far. Once you get into ne Ga, the 850 winds are going to be screaming tonight over the next 8 to 12 hours, further aiding lift on that side.

Slow progress toward the NC border. At least a 5-1 ratio of movement east-north. From the view hear I might be looking at a southern slider.

Wow, just amazing here right now. I can't see the treeline across from my house that's about 200 yards away. The flakes are very small but there is just millions of them. Normally, when we get heavy snow around here the flakes are half dollar size conglomerates. This type of snow is a completely different beast!:snowman:

Almost 2 inches here.

How much have you had Dawson?

I measured 2.5" at 128am on my driveway. Gonna take another measurement at 230am which will be my 3 hour mark. Still snowing pretty hard while I pull my first all nighter in about 8 years and my two kids are attempting to pull their first. LOL
