Heavy band finished moving through, back to light to moderate snow here about 1.5mi S of KPDK. Whoever gets under that band the longest is going to be a very happy weenie.

Hi neighbor! I'm just south of you, off Druid Hills and Roxboro. So far, so good, eh? I'm loving how the band is widening as it moves over us. Still moderate snow here and the temp continues to drop.

Howdy neighbor, indeed! I'm loving the current trends. Hope that band can sit over us a little longer, maybe there is a chance we'll bust on the high side for once here. As the tail end of that heavy band moved through the wind picked up and temp dropped a little bit. Really enjoying the georgia navigator traffic cams too!

How quickly the conditions went down here has been pretty remarkable. Heavy snow with low visibilities and a lot of wind. A surprising amount of wind in fact. Just took a walk in the field and winds are probably gusting to 25 to 30mph out of the southeast. (no obstruction in the field for nearly a half mile) Obviously caused by this band but it's remarkable. Reminds me of the blizzard of 93 to be honest...although that happened in the daytime here.
