snowstormcanuck
Lying in bed, heard a crash of thunder, then what sounded like a train roaring by, and then a loud thud. Neighbor's lawn chair crashed right up against my fence and a whole bunch of branches down in my backyard. I've never heard wind sound so violent. I'd guess a guest along the FROPA of between 60 and 65 mph.
ukrocks
Ended up getting a minor accumulation. None was expected on the grass but we got a dusting, so way better than what I was hoping for!
wishforsnow
We had heavy snow most of the night. The wind is also howling. I can't tell how much we got due to it is still dark. I will know once it gets light. The road grader came around at 4 am to plow the residential streets, so I am sure I will be using the snow blower. I like getting a west wind due to it is much easier to blow it without getting a face full of snow. Next house I buy I am going to make sure I have property south of the driveway. Ajdos
Well we lost power around 430 am, just got it back. and it was freezing outside. The winds were definitely advisory criteria, which were never issued.
