Tropopause_Fold
Messenger, you deserve a tremendous of credit for nailing this storm from start to finish. You don't get the respect you deserve on this site. Sure, you're a raging contrarian who ruffles a lot of weenie feathers...but if I needed a forecast at the eleventh hour I'd be calling you up. You may not have the AMS seal of approval but I'd take you over 99% of these idiots who are on tv all across the country who go down to that school in Mississippi to get their degree. he was also wrong. factor that into your equation

The south shore is fine with that wind dir ( N at least). Attleboro not so much, need NE wind. I got five on NNW winds to his west

codfishsnowman
Whoa, BOS reported 1.9" at midnight. They must have been saving up the entire day's action for that report. EDIT: And BDL is temporarily leading the Big 4 in snowfall this season! Love the word egregious for BDL....once again they over preformed last night too

That's what I was trying to say...models weren't bad up to last evening. Maybe the gfs was aggressive, but the euro seemed fine. I even said to give it a chance until all is said and done..given that band coming in. It showed the jackpot areas near you and up through ern ct and srn orh county. That's pretty good imo. Tropopause_Fold
LOL Phil, wake up to LOL ing in a winter wonder land maybe i should have let it go unsaid but sometimes things need to be mentioned i think. people who actually have a stake in the game put *a lot* of time in to trying to get this stuff right...from tv guys to nws to private sector folks. things do bust sometimes. that's the way it goes. but this event really didn't for the most part and reading ad nauseam how awful the forecast was blah blah gets old and tiresome. if someone wants to say something about bad forecasts...that is totally fine and welcomed...but the point can literally be made in one simple post. you don't need 25 posts saying it (plus, it makes you look like a fool when you are wrong).
