Clinch Leatherwood
the jump east http://aviationweath..._big&itype=irbw It's about to organize though. But it looks like about 3-4 hours later than the 12z models forecast which means instead of having precip move north/northwest into the region from the south the last few hours we have no progress, and then when it does start to "move" again it's not at a pace fast enough to overcome storm movement. The warning is going to bust on the Cape, if I don't get OES type banding I'll be lucky to see an inch. I'm going to take a walk in the rain showers outside and remember that the Euro gave me about .5ish overnight and it's never wrong, so there's still hope....(this was my Ray moment for this day)...now I'll wait for another hour to pass before throwing in the towel. It's trying to organize right now and I'm hoping strength offsets position. Not ready to call it yet. And Kev's on a hot streak, his 5-10" may well come true for down here and this is just a few hour lull. Radar...really instense echoes appearing south of the cape...thunder? CCPSUSuperstorm2010
Messenger, just calm down, the satellite says it all in my opinion, give it until 10pm and then you can say its all over. I am anxiously awaiting the 750pm est updated buoy information.

CCPSUSuperstorm2010
You know, I don't see that much of a jump east, maybe because it is intensifying rapidly it is consolidating more.
Clinch Leatherwood
the jump east http://aviationweath..._big&itype=irbw BTW note on the water vapor....soon as it fired well east it stopped looking so hot here. Sucks but yet again we have this two lobe system...hallmark of the last few winters unless it's parked off Jersey where through some hole in the space time continium it manages to organize in time. http://www.rap.ucar.edu/weather/satellite/displaySat.php?region=ALB&itype=wv&size=large&endDate=20110108&endTime=-1&duration=
