michsnowfreak
After the New Years torch took away the snowpack we had much of December, it ended up being 5 days we had to deal with bare ground, as on and off lake effect snow hit southeast Michigan the last 2 days. IMBY I had 1.7" on Jan 6th and 2.1" on Jan 7th, including a few heavy bursts. Of course, with the fluffiness of the snow it does settle quite a bit, depth is more like 2.5" despite 3.8" falling in the last 2 days.
Voyager
Very nice! I like nighttime snow scenes, and especially those that catch the sparkle of light from the snow crystals.

michsnowfreak
Very nice! I like nighttime snow scenes, and especially those that catch the sparkle of light from the snow crystals. Thanks. Im a huge fan of snow sparkle, and that (not to mention the puffy look of) is what makes lake effect or lake enhanced snow so unique. Really makes me want to live smack dab in a lake belt.
