Chicago Storm
LOT bumped me up to 1-2 inches from nothing. Another clipper goes south of modeling, seasonal trends FTW. Bullish.
Thundersnow12
Bullish. snow in increasing in eastern IA via the DVN radar, would be nice to get a solid half inch or so tonight.

Thundersnow12
1-2" from flurries...nice. lol wow. atleast say periods of -SN, based off current radar, its going to be more than flurries.

A-L-E-K
the guys at LOT hit up Applebees for happy hour before cranking that one out.
michsnowfreak
DTX calling for 1-2" here, I notice latest 18z qpf was 0.11" from the NAM and 0.16" from the GFS...wondering what ratios will be?
turtlehurricane
Madison is getting it pretty good right now based on radar. 0.75 mile visibility currently and already .05" of liquid accumulation. Since it's 19 °F the ratios must be pretty good.

Chicago Storm
Caplan already has a solid coating up in Waconda. He looks good for 1/2-1" Probably a few tenths down this way. Heavy dusting criteria.
turtlehurricane
A good bust in Madison it appears, already 0.13" liquid and still going for another hour at a good rate! Last 2 hours had .04"/hour, which is more than half an inch per hour I bet. Should be at least 2" at MSN when it ends.
Thundersnow12
high end -SN here, really nice sized dendrites.

michsnowfreak
00z NAM looks horrible here (like 0.03") but GFS looks good (0.15" or so), luckily it seems the NAM is wrong. Hoping to get good ratios. If we do, could be the deepest snow depth of the season, as the current depth is 5", and deepest is 6" on Dec 13-15 & Dec 22 (Ironically, the snow depth this winter has loved sitting at 5"...was 5" on Dec 16-21, Dec 23-30, & Jan 12-14). Moneyman
Wow, what a over performer here. We have at least 2.5 inches on the ground right now and the heavy bands are continuing. They were calling for 1-2 here, will end up with at least 3.5 or so.
