Thanks for reminding me. We got the call from ORH at 4 AM, and updating the info now. Only 0.1", but will call back for after midnight reading (for today).

We'll see what we get.

BTW, the Dec 23rd F6 there is still "M"...I'm sure you guys know and have no idea what to do since they were useless. I have about 0.8" that night for my own records....that was the night that the band moved swiftly west from the coast and got past 495 like nobody thought it would....the Cape got 10" that storm. The night of the 22nd into the 23rd. Personally I'd probably put in at least 0.5"....but I know its tough to do anything about it when you have no person from the airport telling you what they got. Just going on my own obs...they def got measurable that day though. Just as a FWIW if you were guys were wondering.

Looks nice for you on radar.

06z GFS really is close to hammering se mass and the Cape..almost to BOS.

I've hated the 2nd event the whole time (except for a brief moment last night when it tried to be better)....but I'm hoping it can give us a nice 1-3" refresher with more on the Cape and SE MA....we'll see if it can come through for us.

It gets the deformation area pretty far west, even on the euro....but it could be a huge tease for my area. I'm not invested in it either, but it sure would be nice to squeeze out a few inches.

BTW, are you ripping back espresso?? LOL.

I'm about done...I'm at the point where if I don't do something every 2 seconds my eyes start to close. I'm out in a few I think with the cell phone on high ringer. I'm a little worried about snow intensifying over the orh hills....but i think it will remain fairly status quo....we are getting enhancement, but it should stay within the 1-3 (with 4" lollis) bound and I do not need to worry about a 6-7" mini snow bomb.

Cool.

Actually, as far as this next low goes, I hope it's not one of those things where the ccb is wrapped really tight around the core, and the only thing we have over sne, is like a small finger of lift moving west and then pivoting south into LI sound. I've seen that before where you have a tight CCB and then almost like a mini convergence area..or perhaps deformation area extending nw, that pivots west and then south. I don't know if you can visualize what I mean, but it basically would mean a few hours of snow and that's it. It looks like this on the NAM.

I know what you mean...its almost a mini-norlun or something.

At any rate, I'm done....time to retire. We have very good snow production right now. I might make 2" if I can hold on for another hour or so.

Hopefully tonight trends better. I'll be up late today. Hopefully in time for the Euro, but perhaps later.
