Thanks, I'll take anything I can get. I haven't seen more then 2" since I was away for the Boxing Day Blizzard. (About that, do you think 12" is accurate for my BY? I just took your total for the storm since I saw no reports from Shrewsbury.)

I deff. can't stay up for whatever happens tonight because I have to be up for a track meet at 630 tommorow. But then again if its bad enough it could get cancelled....or I could wake up to less then an inch lol.

It was impossible to measure but I measured about 9" here (avg measurement)

Thanks for the compliments. NE threads rock. Can't wait to see what your business is all about. Best of luck.

Thanks, my friend... you were always a salt-of-the-earth kind of guy and one of the first people I remember tracking storms with, especially during 12/09/05 ... miss the Boston crowd, for sure!

Nice...it seems elevation really helped out in that part...as areas not too far but up a few hundred feet really got clocked. :snowman:

You called it early....look at Ray and those lucky folks in the hills.....8, 10" plus.....I was locked in at 33F all day....killed higher totals

Well I said someone could get a nice surprise, but I honestly didn't think it would be quite that big....but hey, its just another lesson in how unpredictable these events are. So in the end, I'm not shocked to see what developed. Hoping it has enough juice to at least give me a couple to 3 inches.

LOL - GF joined just to yell at everyone?

Wow. How the hell did I miss that. Can you link to approximately where this all went down, at least the thread and her and his name?

You're not elite enough...

It was strange. Not sure where it came from. Ice Weather Warrior or something

I only remember him posting pics of some apartments during last weeks blizzard

Will, can you explain how a system like this could have missed my region entirely? It just seem so odd - People to the north and east of me, and especially to the west and south seem to have been rocked, but it seems that my entire county has just been left with partial cloudiness for the day.

Very strange indeed.

Well I think you will eventually get into the snow to your south. Probably wont be as heavy by that time, but you might pick up a couple inches. These are never easy to forecast, there's a lot of small mesoscale features that affect it.

Here's the sick thing....I remember the seabreeze kicked in and temps in BOS dropped into the mid 70s at that moment...even though we were a stone's through from BWI. I have to go this year...haven't been in awhile other than a few hour appearance at PVD last year.

Wow - you really are a die hard! ... Somehow, I think that one day I will outgrow my love for snow and weather ... but every time I have this fleeting thought, I recall the veteran Jerry and him waiting to take the dog out in 2-3"/hr. snows ;) ... and today, when we were absolutely ripping for several hours, I felt just as ecstatic as I did when I was a 5 year old trying to catch flakes on my tongue.

Btw, here is some home video I took during the supercell that rolled through BK in September of this year...

It was a winter wonderland at 2pm around here lol....I peeled off I-95 and drove back roads through Darien early this afternoon...Snow upon snow.

More coming tomorrow night and early next week?

Thanks. It's interesting how this happens as well as the huge dryslot that engulfed the county during last week major storm.

Luckily I've got the entire winter to dream.

Pardon my stupidity but What does "Max Cape Cod 04" mean?

Looks like you're on the 95 bridge at New London/ Groton?

That car off to the left looks like it hit the barrier.

Amazing that we're getting zero up here.

LOl that's Cape Cod 04 his name is Max, moved from here to Maryland he is on his way back to Mass to visit LOL
