Wow!!! SW CT has been clobbered....and not over. Congrats! OES here the past 2 hours...easily accumulating at the right of an inch/6 hours. Awaiting "the band" or what's left of it and any lucky tomorrow late. Enjoy folks. Heading out shortly for a nice husband and wife dinner. Daughter away till 6 tomorrow evening.

9", about 1.5" new in 20 minutes and still going strong...best surprise event of my life so far

Looks like closing in on a foot. BTW do you remember a Dec 8 storm 5-6 years ago? We got like 10 with nothing in the city and nothing NE. I just remember date as it was a b-day I was suppose to got to. Wondering if setup was anything like this.

Enjoy the fluff

22/19, back to snow after an extended period of pixie dust. Congrats to Box so far as the timing/amounts have been on the money here. Additional 4-6" looks like a good call based on current radar trends. Spoke to my Mom in the Hudson Valley and she reports about 7" and sn+. Also congrats to all SW Conn weenies. I love how happy snow makes people young and old. Big Winter incoming, big big Winter. Any doubters left?

Are you north of the city, Will?

That radar is just crazy....OES banding near ACK, mega-band near BDR, and upslope enhancement near you.

Yeah I'm on the north edge of the city. So probably like a couple miles N of the circle on wxtap.

No I don't recall it, but I'm sure Will can add insite.

Thanks Pete, I have converted from a semi-doubter to a believer! Epic winter is here!
