CCPSUSuperstorm2010 Posted January 7, 2011 Share Posted January 7, 2011 I could definitely see how the 12z GEFS mean 72 hour QPF verfies for South Coast of SNE, including RI and SE MA. I think the GFS might be too progressive still with the overall low track and timing. Could see something like 10 miles SE of the BM type track, 00z runs will either lock this up, or will give us more questions than answers. The more amplified scenario is still on the table, however the lack of a strengthening H5 low is really killing this potential. It was heaviest here a few hours ago from when I posted that photo until about 30 minutes later. Still have some to go, we'll see if it picks up.
