My dad lives in New Milford..and he doesn't have as much as Ryan says they had. I just measured 13" even at 5 separate locations on my property (areas that were clear following the Boxing Day storm). Remember that we are 60 miles or more from each of the NWS radar sites, and at elevation, so what you see on radar may not necessarily what we are getting. I'm not shocked at the amounts that they had down in sw ct. We had crappy flakes with that oes here, but perhaps a little extra lift and slightly colder air is helping you out.
