jdt
Yes, 20:1 0.7" as of 7:45AM with the heated rain gauge indicating 0.03. Not perfect for figure this out but supports the general 20:1 thing

LMolineuxLM1
I can certainly say this was a little impressive bugger of a storm/system. Wasnt sure if i should have called it a storm or a system so i put both. But this certainly is lovely, so easy to remove and such. It def. is very fluffy. Time to almost go out for a measurement. tombo82685
not sure if lancaster's asos or whatever they use is broken, but they are still snowing with 1.25 mile vis. So either the radar is not picking up the snow, or there reporting station is messed up

phlwx
Most schools here are closed for less than an inch of snow. Not sure I've ever seen that happen before. The LV schools have some of the weakest-kneed administrators in the country. I get delays on a day like today so you can get the rush hour traffic in without having buses f up the roads. You don't need to close schools for a couple of inches of snow.
LMolineuxLM1
well over an inch here in drexel hill so far, still coming down lightly prob around 1-1.5 mile vis Wow i have 2.1 inches here, measure on the deck and also the level rails on the fence on my deck. And still coming down pretty good. Might be at the end 2.25 inches or maybe a tad more. These measurements were taken in multiple locations. Big Jims Videos
To continue the snow pain being felt by those in the Wyoming Valley, there is a dusting on my car maybe 1/2 inch and Bing was calling for 3-6 here. Its over, to my west is already brightening. Off to work!
Voyager
Well, totally off from work now. The hill into the pit where I get the coal is about a 15% grade, and the boss doesn't want to risk going into a skid on the decent or not being able to get back out if I do get in safely. Oh well, I guess I'll go get my paycheck and take some photos while I'm out.

Ah ok, yeah and its still coming down at a half decent clip. but has slowed a bit. Radar really showed my area getting a bit more pounded then northern delco. This one was surely a major bonus. mikerep
Just over an inch here outside of Coatesville. Amazing what an inch of snow before the Sun comes up can do to the roads. Schools that did not have a 2-hr delay will be takin' the heat on this one.
