If I'm reading the climate records correctly, it appears that the -46F this morning in International Falls was their coldest temperature on any day since 1909!! :o

Amazing that they beat Feb '96. Must have been just the perfect conditions up there.

The -46 degree low was tied for the lowest on record at the International Falls Airport. The official observing station was moved to the airport in 1939. This is tied with the -46 degree reading from January 6, 1968.
