Clinch Leatherwood
Doesnt look to me like the NAM will have the gas to get it north but I may be wrong. 42-45 will tell the tale. Congrats south NJ
moneypitmike
Well--guess western NE better hope for some really high ratios for a warning verificaiton per this run.

ski MRG
That's a pun for the feeble minded. Pun (pun) n. the humorous use of a word, or of words which are formed or sounded alike but have different meanings, in such a way as to play on two or more of the possible applications. Try again. Clinch Leatherwood
Worst case scenario. Forms fast enough and close enough to really start to do a number on the norlun. Pretty marked reductions in QPF where I don't see anything .5 now on the NAM. Meanwhile it's close to as far north as it can go at 45 in the NAM depiction....but maybe I'm wrong. Clinch Leatherwood
Flurries scraping into SNE at 48...but it's so darned close. Compared to the 12z the 48h QPF .25 hasn't moved really at all, just some of the maxes are gone. Compared to the 18z it's a bit of a trim but overall not bad in western areas with a solid .25+
moneypitmike
With the trough, looks like the qpf depiction has taken a middle approach between what was offered at 12z and 18z. Pedestrian (but gladly take what we can get) pretty much with the Ct. River as the eastern border.
ctsnowstorm628
NAM not bad for CT once again with a solid band of snow coming through tomorrow evening...seems like the jackpot has gone from SW CT to farther east along the shoreline into the hartford area with about .3-.4" qpf...with 15:1 or 20:1 ratios per (UPTON NWS) thats easily 5-7" of snow
CoastalWx
The NAM tries pretty hard to pop H7 low near the Cape at hr 54, and it looks darn good for cstl ME at this time.
Ginx snewx
So that was interesting, especially the 5 H digging more yet, nice pop of 8h low off ACK, slow down a little, interesting trend after the super squall/ Thats a traffic stopping 2-4 then over squall. dendrite
A little rejuvenation for coastal ME/NH at 60. That's probably what some of the SREFs were doing later in the period accounting for the spread.

Clinch Leatherwood
There's a little rock at 38/70 that's getting buried. Well it's a close scrape. It's close to jumping down this way at 700...east flow over my head at one point. But it's the NAM and outside of 42 it's been losing the show. It came way towards the other side, now I'll keep my fingers crossed that the others keep trending because this just blows for a lot of folks. The trough gets squashed/rocketed north, and the storm snows still mainly miss. Almost hints at the 7/8h centers being just off the Cape towards 51ish. Ski MRG not meaning to snap at you but the signature is an obvious joke and I kind of take offense whenever someone accuses me of being biased. For 5 runs now things haven't been looking so hot with the through and in the last 2-3 we're gradually seeing a focus offshore. That's not bias, it's actually stating what's pretty obvious. Clinch Leatherwood
Bob one more run is all we need....one more good solid trend like this and everything changes Let's see what the other models do beyond 42 when the NAM has been shearing too fast.
