I'll bump this for you because I like to see everyone's maps. haha thanks. i thought this idea for a thread would take off but so far either no one has noticed it or they don't make their own snow maps. Grothar
The best dam map I have ever seen on this board. True science at work. For once- the trend is west and the norlun and inverted trough is right over the Lehigh Valley and I do not have to wait for the Euro to agree with the GFS. Some of the naysayers would say that this map depicts the NAM since it is a bit overdone but it looks like the old AVN model to me. Thanks AR for helping bring some optimism back to the board. OH how I am sick of hearing about NYC getting dumped on again.

Grothar
from DT...seems rather bullish: Looks to be realistic--- of course the snow hole lives on with this map and that is why it appears to be realistic

atownwxwatcher
Nothing for Staten Island? Would be in the 2-4 range did not notice that i missed the little area...with the program i use a bit hard at times to get the tinier areas..
Quincy
it's tough to say right now, but I think things are coming into better focus. a narrow band of heavy snowfall will setup and those areas who are lucky enough to get it will probably see 6" and possibly a good amount over that. here is my best forecast:
phlwx
from DT...seems rather bullish: The gradient is pretty much spot on, imo, but the amounts are very aggressive in his "red" zone.

ChescoWx
Wxsim module has light snow begining overnight by 3am here in the NW burbs accumulating around 1.5" before ending by noon tomorrow. It also indicates heavy snow by tuesday AM with around 8" accumulating by late in the day on Tuesday the 11th
Itstrainingtime
Alright since it was in the wrong thread before I guess... Preliminary Probably not really concerned with this area when you did your map, but the Laurels of SW PA will do much better than a coating to an inch. Probably more like 3" - 6" there before all is said and done... Otherwise, it looks really good!
JCT777
Wxsim module has light snow begining overnight by 3am here in the NW burbs accumulating around 1.5" before ending by noon tomorrow. This sounds about right for your area and mine (Northern Chester County and most of Montgomery County in PA).

Voyager
Just saw this and all I have to say is ...and that's meant in a fun way! The gradient is pretty much spot on, imo, but the amounts are very aggressive in his "red" zone. Per Ray's (famartin's) regional obs, that red zone seems to be about right and perhaps even a bit low in spots.
_AR_
Just saw this and all I have to say is ...and that's meant in a fun way! lol. I got more snow today than from the "blizzard". Hoping for the 18Z DGEX solution for the next one.

These 1-2 inch snows are leaf blower snows. A real good sign that we are going to get hammered is that whenever Memphis, Tn is under a winter storm watch, we get heavy snowfalls two 2 days later. Works just about every time since the 1980's. They went under a watch this evening. Bring it on baby
