dilly84
NAM gives KPIT 2.5" so huge loss for them too. As I said from CMH east, the totals have went way down. thanks to the north trend.
The_Global_Warmer
STL is starting to look at a 4-6 inch event and more North and West maybe. instead of a 2-3 inch event.
Chicago WX
0.44" for LAF with the 0z NAM. Let's do this.
BeastFromTheEast
0.44" for LAF with the 0z NAM. Let's do this. With good ratios that'll get ya 6+.
Chicago WX
With good ratios that'll get ya 6+. Tempering my enthusiasm a bit, but it if the ole NAM keeps leading the charge...it's not crazy to think it's possible.
ukrocks
Any chance this thing can trend 25-50 miles south?
Hoosier
With good ratios that'll get ya 6+. The NAM qpf/ratios would suggest a 6-7" snowfall. I think the good ratios will be there, so the question is how much qpf actually occurs.
dilly84
Any chance this thing can trend 25-50 miles south? none. Its consistently trending north. I went from 5.5" to 3". Trand this way arent good for anyone except detroit cleveland, etc.
Madmaxweather
I am back from central PA ended up with 4 inches up that way but I will tell you this I have had enough of driving in snow. It was hellacious! It seemed whenever I got in the car it snowed and it didn't snow lightly it snowed hard. LOL Anyway were looking good here in southern Ohio for 3+.... baroclinic_instability
I haven't posted one of these in a while. They should finally get some accumulating snow, but the NOVA/DC/BA screw zone continues and weeny hearts are broken. I can't believe those guys, they get screwed every way possible this winter. Spits out EXACTLY the same amount of qpf as 18Z, what am I missing here? hmm.. for you, but youre right on the line in cmh with the NAM. East of CMH not so much. I went from 5.5" to 3 on the nam and the gfs is basically a miss, unless you consider 1-2" a snowstorm.

I can't believe those guys, they get screwed every way possible this winter. I always believe in things even out, karma, etc. They got dumped on last year. Just like how MSP is behind detroit about 60 inches the past 8 years and they are closely erasing that so far this year.
JayPSU
GFS taking more steps towards the NAM, looking like .25"+ of qpf for a lot of Ohio.

Guys like me and steve went from 5-6" to 2-3" so the trend is north. I can't believe those guys, they get screwed every way possible this winter. After last season, they have no room to b***h. BTW, I'm taking these latest trends with a grain of salt. I would certainly be pleasantly suprised with a Chicago-Detroit-Toronto snowfall, we haven't had one all season, but there's still plenty of room for change (for better or worse). I can't believe those guys, they get screwed every way possible this winter. I lived that for 30yrs in that area/region before moving out this way. In 1997-98 winter never did arrive and not a flake was seen by me that winter. Ofcourse that is the extreme and the only time i seen that happen but still. Still not over with but yeah trends are not on their side at this point.

Ohio guys (myself included) are so desparate for snow that a 3" snow is considered a storm.. I am sticking with my 1-3" call.
