0.47"

Wow, sweet thanks. No idea how we pull that off though? That looks more than the totals out west, yet I'd imagine we're too far west for the coastal. I figured the other low would dampen out as it moves east. Anyways, I'll take it haha.

Could be a good storm for most posters here, aside the MSP crew, but I dont think theyd mind sharing one. Hows it looking for you way Chicago?

0.14" for ORD on the ECMWF.

A 1-3" event with decent ratios looks possible based on current guidance...which is fine with me.

By the way, 0.32" for MSP. :arrowhead:

EURO is over .1 QPF here as well. I'll take a 2-3 inch event before the big one late next week (hopefully)

0.14" for FLD.

you can still do omaha and lincoln ;)

0.64" of LNK.

Sure wish they'd make the Euro free for all to see someday. Hopefully someday the American models are just as good and we won't have to pay for the better model like we do now.

Hope...just about the only thing you can do.

0.13" for DVN.

Looks like 54 hrs of light snow with periods of moderate snow.

Remember: LT precip= 0.01-0.1 QPF LT-MOD precip= .1-.25 QPF

Hope that helps.

This will never happen because of the European consortium. NCEP is completely different in that regards, and quite honestly, the GFS is REALLY close to the ECMWF. Considering it is free, it really is quite a bargain. The ECMWF is still the best model in the world, but its "lead" is not nearly as great as it was 10 years ago, for instance.

jeeze you sound like you have a degree in meteorology or something. pfft. lol. jk. IMO it kinda varies from year to year. Some years it is the king and then other years it isnt much better than the gfs.
