THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR THIS PAST DECEMBER IN CENTRAL PARK WAS32.8 DEGREES. THIS IS 4.5 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL FOR THE MONTH.ALTHOUGH THIS DOES NOT BRING THIS PAST DECEMBER INTO THE TOP TENCOLDEST LIST...IT IS THE FIRST MONTH SINCE FEBRUARY 2010 THAT THEAVERAGE MONTHLY TEMPERATURE WAS BELOW NORMAL. THAT MARKS 9 MONTHS INA ROW...MARCH THROUGH NOVEMBER...WITH ABOVE NORMAL AVERAGE MONTHLYTEMPERATURES IN CENTRAL PARK.
