mappy
Well, it's celsius where 0 is 32F, so what do you think?
bluehens
I know I was just kidding around Nah - no one is taking it seriously. It's not like we are ignoring the whole model suite and saying "Yeah but NOGAPS is hitting us!"...the NOGAPS is just one small piece of positive news on top of what has generally been some good reason for cautious optimism. kurtstack
Desperation is setting in when we're all rationalizing the NOGAPS op run and its SE bias into a hit for us. It's just another winner to throw on top of the pile of models showing the storm. Consensus is building is the general point. Euro/UKIE may be the only real outliers at this point. If they join the party I'll be REALLY ready to lock in at least a decent event for us.

stormtracker
Can Wes fire up the bus yet? Or wait for 12Z Euro to adjust? I own the bus, I listen to Wes when I need to know whether to fire it up. It's getting close.
Dr No
The other good thing is that all the key components will be "on shore" tomorrow. No waiting for stuff to drop down from the north pole 10 hours before the event.

Scarlet Pimpernel
Who drives it? Hopefully not Ji! There's actually a Metro bus route near here, the J1. At times, I've mis-read that as being the "JI" bus and thought to myself, "oh no, don't get on the Ji bus, it's sure to lead to disaster!" (No offense to Ji, all in fun here!!) If the 12z runs look like 00z, I think it would be time to make sure the tires are inflated and check under the hood.

I have said absolutely nothing about this threat to my co-workers after the 12/26 disastah. Of course, they must be finding this information somewhere cause they are asking me already about the snow chances next week and that there could be a "big storm"

Still looks good on the 12z NAM. it's evolved to a mostly light event for those areas, something which many in this area would be happy with, but not so much among many up yonder
