aldie 22
It will be important that people need to recognize that the ceiling for this event should be pretty low....the question to me is have the models shown that ceiling yet....I certainly know they have shown the basement. Yes, I think we are scrounging for a solid 4 inches across the area with lollipops to 5 as a very top-end. Don't need much really.

mitchnick
24 hrs NAM definitely has more intense precip off the SE coast than 18Z 30hrs suggesting earlier developement
Ian
I feel like every time I make a post you are watching me shaking your head. there's something to be said about the emotional swings in these threads. we need positive people. this one might still surprise people who have given up on winter for the last 6 hrs. lsukev
Looks like the SREF's have the coastal low at 1008mb about six hours sooner than 15Z. That's the same trend the 18Z GFS seemed to show. That is, quicker development of the coastal.

mitchnick
oh yeah, I like NAM at 24 decent uvv's in the SE looks to be a tad slower, which is great, giving it more time to develop further south hope the trend continues

I aint reading all that. I'll take leesburg word for it. I honestly didn't look at anything today. I'm going to assume we're primmed for an inch or two of snow.
