mitchnick
I don't think LWX can go wrong predicting 2 inches or so. Looks about right averaging the models. Ah, and the Eagles lost!! Now all i need is for the Steelers to kick the crap out of the Ravens next week and all is well in the world. that was a big, big mistake no snow 4U!!!!! Sparky
This is about the right time for the GFS to give us a good storm only to take it back by 12Z tomorrow. think Christmas.

real
This sucks to see this to our south, and now west, and soon to our north. (But I'm still betting on an over achiever) http://www.weather.gov/largemap.php

lsukev
I, for one, am feeling optimistic about tonight's runs. I think the two lows phasing a little more south giving more QPF to at least some of us is do-able. We're not praying for a coastal low with an extrememly sharp western cutoff to move move close enough to the coast to scrape us. All we're asking for is more QPF over the next several runs. WE CAN DO IT!!!

SomeguyfromTakomaPark
Any significance for us that the NAM sim radar from 18z at 6h is not matching up with the precip I'm seeing. Precip extends much further NE.

You're right, there's no chance for snow. No reason for you to be here. Check back mid week.

PhineasC
I think the srefs are better I heard from tombo they were more north of west but also slightly east of south, so sort of a mixed bag.
North Balti Zen
Earthlight said: The SREFs are nearly 10mb deeper with the surface low and developing it faster than the past runs. It's rare to see such a huge jump on the SREFs like this.
WinterWxLuvr
what do Sref's say? on Philly thread they say they show the storm bombing out sooner To me, they show a good bit more precip. But I can only see 24 hour totals. The total precip maps when they come out, as well as the ind. members will tell more.

WinterWxLuvr
6 inches? Your guess is as good as mine, but you are almost definitely in a better position than I am. I won't lie, I'm getting my hopes up.
