I remember a part of Lancaster or York county getting a foot of snow during that 2/3/09 event while 10 miles north got almost nothing.

I live right in the center of it, between Ephrata and Lititz. Eastern Ephrata ground was brown, while western Ephrata/Akron I watched a snowmobile flying down the road right near my house in 10". By the time I went 6 miles west to work in Lititz, they had 2 inches. I remember my friends hearing of the reports and calling me to see if I went riding while they had nothing out there window only miles away.

Pretty much anyone from Boston down to maybe even Philly is in the game for getting in on this inverted trough, but unfortunately it's such a small band that it disappoints a lot of folks in the end. It could just as easily shift back to being a Boston event tomorrow. We just never know with these things.

Meh, 6"-12" from TTN to ALB from an inverted trough...that would be nice.

lol i dunno about this run it has a norlun over the area for 24 plus hrs lol

You guys might find this hysterical, but State College, PA's best snowfall ever was 31" in March 1942, from what was said to be an inverted trough band. Places 75 miles either side of town had much less than downtown actually did.
